Independent Educational Evaluation

An Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) is an evaluation of a student’s educational needs, conducted by a qualified professional outside of the school district. Parents may request an IEE if they disagree with the school’s assessment. The evaluation can cover areas like academics, cognition, behavior, or related services, and its results must be considered by the school team when making decisions about the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).

Academic Assessments

A standardized academic assessment is a tool used to understand how your child is performing in key areas like reading, writing, and math compared to other students their age or grade level. Dyslexia Screener

A dyslexia screener is a brief assessment designed to identify signs that a child may be at risk for dyslexia.
