Independent Educational Evaluation
An Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) is an evaluation of a student’s educational needs, conducted by a qualified professional outside of the school district. Parents may request an IEE if they disagree with the school’s assessment. The evaluation can cover areas like academics, cognition, behavior, or related services, and its results must be considered by the school team when making decisions about the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).
Schedule a free consultation to discuss your concerns and learn whether an IEE may be helpful.

Dyslexia
We offer both a dyslexia screener and a comprehensive dyslexia assessment, depending on your child’s needs. A dyslexia screener is a brief evaluation that looks at key early reading skills such as phonological awareness, word recognition, and decoding to determine whether a child may be at risk. It does not diagnose dyslexia but helps guide next steps for support or further testing. A comprehensive dyslexia assessment is a more in-depth evaluation of reading skills and the cognitive and language processes that impact them. It determines whether a student’s learning profile is consistent with dyslexia and provides clear recommendations for intervention and support.
